Description
Storm at Spring, Nant Gwynant is one of the most dramatic and beautiful valleys in Wales. Its northern slopes rise to the summit of Wales highest mountain Snowdon and to the south lies the relatively undisturbed hills of Moel y Dyniewyd and the Moelwynion range.

With the still rolling but planted anyway valley, the hill going up on the right we don't know how high, cotton puff trees scattered, a lake quiet enough for reflection, and I think the added magic of patchy clouds rendering light and cloud shadow where the air decides to disperse it this is one grand image. I think many years ago Corot would have set in for the afternoon in the spot you stand. This image reminds of Corot's eye.
