Description
Snowdon on the right is the highest mountain in Wales, at an elevation of 1,085 metres (3,560 ft) above sea level, and the highest point in the British Isles outside the Scottish Highlands. It is located in Snowdonia National Park and has been described as probably the busiest mountain in Britain.
Lake Teyrn sits on the popular miners path up to Mount Snowdon past the higher lake Llydaw - the largest and deepest lake on Snowdons flanks, is crossed by a causeway at its eastern end.
The zigzag path on the left leads down to the merging paths of The Pyg Track (above) and Miners Track (below) above lake Glaslyn. Crib Goch peak is visible at the middle left.
