The Buxton Memorial Fountain is a memorial and drinking fountain in the Victoria Tower Gardens London, it commemorates the emancipation of slaves in the British Empire in 1834.
MP Thomas Fowell Buxton campaigned against slavery in parliament and helped to found the British and Foreign Anti-Slavery Society to abolish slavery throughout the world.
