Description
the pipe organ in the Lady Chapel of Liverpool Anglican Cathedral, designed by Giles Gilbert Scott overseen by G F Bodley. The Lady Chapel was the first part of the cathedral to be completed in 1910 and retains many of the Gothic features of the original design.
The two manual instrument in the Lady Chapel was built by Willis in 1910. The keyboards are CC to C (61 notes) and the pedalboard is CCC to G (32 notes). Eight new stops were added during the 1973 overhaul. In 1992, a 32 foot reed was added to the pedal organ (a bequest from Geoffrey Potter Lennox).
